If you don't listen, you won't sell

If you’re not a good listener you won’t sell too much.
In sales, the art of listening, is the first step of understanding your customers.
Forget about pushing a product to the market. Consumers are not stupid. Instead, listen them and try to understand their desires and objections. That’s a good starting point. That’s a must.
When you talk, you are only repeating what you already know. But when you listen you may learn something new. 
What you can figure out is what stands in the way of closing the sale, the objections that are pushing back your prospect.
Listen, make good questions and find the patterns. It’s an art.
