What's the difficult part?

The difficult part is not to make something remarkable.
It’s to persuade people to accept (and use) your product.
You can come up with the best marketing strategy in the world, but if you don’t persuade your clients (specially your boss) you won’t go far.
Seth Godin explains this very well in a book called Free Prize inside. The entire book is about how to make a purple cow (something remarkable that is worth to make a remark about.)
He actually starts with the idea of selling the idea rather than coming up with the innovation.
Because early on he knew that without this persuasion part an idea won’t see the sun light.
