Running to write that down

How many times have you had good ideas and said… I’ll write them down later? I’m sure you remember some, but have no clue about what the ideas were about.
One of the things I learned while I ran some eyetracking tests was the importance of asking key questions at the end of each task. Why? Because the user has the information fresh in her head. She’ll forget it in a minute or two, but in that moment, you can get precious information.
It happens the same for you. It’s so easy to forget something if you don’t write it down in your notebook right away.
It’s critical to get your notes down as soon as you can. You might remember the main idea, but you’ll forget something. Some details. And that’s where the breadcrumbs are.
That’s the whole game.
