The process of writing a book (6/6): It might not work

It might not work. You gotta be okay with it.
Maybe the story, the three acts and the timeline are perfectly clear in your head, but you never know how people are going to react to your story. Or maybe it turns out they don’t like the whole thing at all.
This is as true for you as it is for any professional writer. Ask them. They don’t have best-sellers all the time.
Sometimes it doesn’t matter if you follow all these steps. You don’t know when a book is going to be a success. The only thing you control is your work. Give your best. Let the work speak for itself.
And before you finish your book, start the next one. Your book might not work, it’s okay. Start the next one, and increase your chances.

PS. I started these posts series when I was writing my book. Now my book is out there. Check it out. You can download it for free and share it as much as you want.
